Imagine you are in Britain taking photos of people at some public event and a police officer suddenly confiscates your camera. You think what on earth is going on!  Imagine someday you may be prevented from working in the “field” of the public realm. Photographers are being restricted from taking photos in public places.  Thousands of photographers worldwide are organizing to protect their rights as a freelance photographer through the ‘Not A Crime” campaign.  Britain is in the process of setting new laws to restrict photographers, including tourist photographers, from taking photos of people in public places including buildings.  Other countries such as Scotland are planning to adopt Britain’s new photography laws.
