I am so amazed at the awesome footage that is coming through these days with the high-speed cameras. Rob posted a great article a little while ago with HD slow motion footage.
This particular slow motion footage is from Discovery.
For me personally, Joe McNally is right up there with the best of the best in the world of photography.
Joe has released a great photography video that I wanted to share with you all. And before anyone asks, yes, he’s a Nikon shooter. Putting that aside, this will give you a great insight into what Joe does.
I was out with a photography buddy of mine on Friday night and we were chatting about what the next high-end Canon camera was going to look like – well look like with features. Here’s what we both came up with.
Specs
16mp Full Frame sensor Dual DIGIC processor
10 frame per second
3″ VGA LCD
Wifi
And while I on the subject of Canon and cameras, Canon have now acknowledged another issue with the MarkIII, this time with oil spots. Not great if you own one that is displaying this issue.
This maybe old news for some, but Canon has introduced two new lenses; Tilt and Shift, the TS-E 17mm f/4L and TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II, which allow to correct the perspective of the image. The first completely new, the goal becomes more angular offset so far, and the second is a renewed version of the old TS-E 24mm, and some photographers were not entirely satisfied.
These two new lenses, oriented professional photographer of architecture or landscape, diaphragms are circular and allow greater control of the focal plane, similar to the techniques of large format cameras. Unlike their predecessors in this range, also made significant developments:
* Now you can change the direction of travel (and off balance) in an independent way.
* The target consists of new optical elements and low dispersion effect to reduce distortion and chromatic aberrations and to optimize the focusing mechanism.
* New SWC coating to minimize reflections and artifacts.
With this new release, Canon already has career goals in the Tilt and Shift focal 17mm, 24mm, 45mm and 90mm.
